Laura Roe has been an angel and an ally in my life and in my relationship. My husband and I often say that we do not think we would be married today were it not for her presence in our lives. She has not only served as our midwife for our first child, but she has also served as our counselor for the past five years. The space she holds is clear and safe. She is full of wisdom and shares it readily in a way that's easy to digest and easy to incorporate. She is also a "seer" and can see and name the energies that are just below the surface of a given story. She has a graceful way of inviting unconscious energies and patterns to rise, to be seen and heard, to unwind, and to then integrate as something powerful and helpful instead of depleting or sabotaging. I highly recommend working with Laura for any issues that arise in your partnership or life. Her skills are a huge gift to our community. Thank you so much, Laura.

Laura Roe is seen as our community wise woman and has been in my life as a guide, therapist and midwife for 17 years. Her guidance has been the main support I have used in matters of birth, death/grief, trauma, marriage, divorce and personal growth. Laura is one of the most intelligent and skilled practitioners I have ever worked with. Her ability to hold space and call to the forefront my own innate wisdom is both unique and invaluable. She is absolutely my “ turn to” person when it comes to finding my path through the complexity of healing my trauma.

We all have our time when we are ready to heal and we all have our people who are meant to help us — Laura has been the one for me.
Laura and I have been working together for over 7 years. First, she was my midwife through two home births and the last two years have been Somatically focused to help me with my CPTSD.
For me, Laura is the light at the end of the tunnel. Coming from extensive childhood sexual trauma myself, Laura is the person I trust with this delicate process. I’ve been with so many therapists and specialists since I was a teen and not one of them connected the dots to trauma, until I saw Laura. As a teen, I stayed in an adolescent facility for suicidal ideation and was on a rotation of different psych meds until my mid 20s. Now at the age of 35, and for the first time in my life, I am learning how to feel my body and listen to its needs. I am learning how to regulate my system when it is activated from stressful situations and I am learning how to track the activation and know where it began so that I can help it move through my body and not become stuck and stagnant, causing more symptoms long term. This is all from Laura guiding me oh so perfectly.
I don’t think words could accurately describe the amount of talent she holds within herself — in the most humble of ways, too. She held the most amazing and supportive and motherlike and tender container for me to bring my babies into this world and she always had this way of helping me bring my emotional needs to the surface to heal as well. The traumas that I carried, she always had a way of guiding me through them. I feel safe with Laura, in ways that I haven’t experienced with any practitioner in the past. She has a way of respecting my personal boundaries and thresholds that I didn’t even know were possible. Laura is ultimately a teacher in all the best ways.
I am excited to be able to implement these lessons to my own children so that they can be more body aware as they grow, ultimately reducing their risk for abuse. Teaching many generations at once and changing the world, one client at a time…That’s how I see Laura.
Laura, I am so grateful to be working alongside you and learning the wonderful skills that you are here to teach. I often feel as if there is not enough in this physical world that could express the appreciation and gratitude I feel for what you have given me. Many, many thanks and a million times over.

We began working with Laura when I got pregnant with my first chc. because of my history (abuse, rape and dysfunctional families) we knew how important it would be to find a wise woman to guide us through this special time in life.
Laura was the absolute perfect choice for our family!
my husband and I still work with her today- four years later with two kiddos in tow.
Laura helps us find tools, reminds us of our original intentions as parents and she helps us get into our bodies and out of stress response. We have experienced more connection, more clarity, less stress and deep healing through working with her.
Laura is a wise woman with many years of midwifery experience which makes her the perfect person to support us through other life transitions.
Our family is blessed to know her and we are extremely grateful for everything she does to support us.

Working with Laura is helping me develop a knowledge of self and a deep peace of being that I hadn't been able to access in years of talk-based therapy. She holds a safe, inviting, container to be witnessed and guided into places in my body that were otherwise ignored. Most importantly, she possesses the deep compassion and skill necessary to greet whatever comes up. Through our work, I am able to more accurately feel my feelings, to recognize old patterns of behavior based in trauma, to communicate my truth with others, and to make new choices that serve my authentic self. I am forever grateful for the self-awareness and liberation she is fostering. I highly recommend her work to my patients as well. Thank you for all you do, Laura!
